State Contest Preview Concert

This Tuesday, April 8th, beginning at 7:00pm in the Jenks Performing Arts Center.

In preparation for OSSAA State Concert Band Contest, all three concert bands will be performing their contest literature for family members, friends, and the general public.

The concert is free and open to the public.

Doors open at 6:30pm. Itineraries for each band are here on the website.

TICKETING INFORMATION - PLEASE READ THROUGH ALL OF THE INFORMATION BEFORE ORDERING:
- Banquet Tickets are LIVE!
- See THIS VIDEO for important information and support to ensure the order is complete for processing.
- FREE ADMISSION for Band/Guard students.
- All other attendees must purchase tickets PRIOR to the event.
- Tickets will NOT be available for purchase at the door or after April 24th.
- We may not be able to honor meal preferences if tickets are purchased after the original deadline (April 17th).
- Ticket prices did increase this year. Reasons for this include:
  - Costs have increased.
  - We have outgrown other venues in the area!
  - Please remember:
    - Trip account funds CAN be used if you wish.
    - Your ticket purchases are helping us to keep this event open to all students and directors at no cost to them.
  - Tickets are $40/each until midnight, Thursday, April 17th.
  - If seating is still available after April 17th, the ticket price increases to $50/each until Friday, April 24th.
  - Once you are logged into Membership Toolkit, Click “My Account”, “My Forms/Paperwork”, and “2025 Band Banquet Tickets”.
  - Do NOT purchase a ticket for your Band/Guard student. We have a list of all students and will assume that they will all be in attendance.
- CHECK BEFORE YOU BUY: Please refer to THIS LIST OF REGISTERED GUESTS to see registered guests as of 10am, Sunday, April 6th. If you purchase duplicate tickets in error, we will not be able to process refunds until after the banquet.

Senior Boards
- Seniors and Senior Families, you are invited to display your student's Senior Board at the Band Banquet! Please use a standard-sized tabletop tri-fold display board. Decorate it with photos and memorabilia from your Trojan Pride years! (NOTE: Senior Boards are optional; not a requirement.)
- Please be at the Ruffin Event Center 6:00-6:15pm to display your Senior Board.

Senior Ads
- Senior Ads are now available for purchase!
- Senior Families, celebrate your senior with a Senior Ad to be showcased in the Band Banquet Program! Start working on your whole-page, half-page, or quarter-page PDF or JPG file. You will upload this file when placing your order. DEADLINE IS FRIDAY, APRIL 11TH. Pricing is as follows:
  - Whole Page $100
  - Half Page $50
  - Quarter Page $25

Concession stand shifts great time for you and your student to volunteer and earn those trip funds!

Jenks soccer games are held at Allen Trimble Stadium. Click here to sign up to work soccer games.

NEW OPPORTUNITY - this summer, Jenks is hosting a 2-day football camp at Allen Trimble Stadium. The Trojan Pride will be providing concessions for the event. Please sign up here if you are interested in working.

Reminder - your trip funds can also be used for registration and other fees throughout the year.

Spring Flower Pickup!

Spring Flower Pickup is Thursday April 17th from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Battlecreek Church at 2101 W 118th St, Jenks, OK 74037.

Please have your student check posting in the band room to see if they have an order to pick up.

Don't forget to pick up your Concert Photo!

Don't forget, every student gets a free copy of their concert band photo. If you haven't received yours yet, they will be available at the Preview Concert this Tuesday and the next Band Parent Meeting on April 28th.

April 28th Parent Meeting

Since we don't often have 2 parent meetings in the same month, make sure to mark your calendar for the next parent meeting - it will be April 28 and we will use it to install officers and go over 25/26 year registration for May 10.

Bridges Mercantile Fundraiser

We are joining up with Bridges Mercantile for our next fundraiser with Popcorn and Dog Treats! Online orders only for this fundraiser. Students will earn 50% per item sold to their trip account! Orders are due on April 17th and will be ready for delivery on April 28th after school or the band parent meeting. All orders must be picked up by the end of the parent meeting.

In supporting a Jenks Trojan Pride student, your contribution directly benefits that student. Through the “Band Together” program, students are asking 10 people to sponsor them for $20 each.
